Samuel Snyder - Executive Director Right out of University, Sam served in Peace Corps, Ivory Coast, but it wasn’t until a sustainable development tour to Guatemala a few years later that he shifted his focus again to developing nations. After his trip, he decided to get a Masters in Public Administration at Seattle University while simultaneously launching his career in International Development. Life came full circle when he relocated his family to Guatemala in 2012 to become Director for ecofiltro: one. He is passionate about seeing people around the globe have the same choices affluent nations have, starting with water. Twitter: @samuelsnyder |

Christopher Eaton - Director of Field Operations Twenty-five years ago Chris started Bridge Builders, a company who has coordinated international service trips for more than 5000 people in over 10 countries. Working with community leaders and NGOs in Latin America, he has learned many things about good and bad development models. He loves working for ecofiltro: one because it is one of the simplest ways to get clean water into homes. As a resident of Guatemala, he feels privileged to be involved in solving one of their most fundamental problems. |

Julio Meléndez - Senior Field Director, Guatemala Julio has worked and volunteered for years in organizations that support rural Guatemalans. Using his English and his studies in Environmental Engineering, he eventually crossed paths with ecofiltro: one, where he acts as a liaison for villagers, educating and training in the use of ecofilters. Julio would probably do the same thing with his time if we didn’t pay him; seeing his fellow Guatemalans enjoy clean water makes him pretty happy. |
